Register today for the Engineering Exploration Day on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

Join us for this FREE interactive special event to discover more opportunities within the Engineering Program at Saint Vincent College. Work closely with our faculty and current students studying engineering and dive into hands-on activities in our state-of-the-art labs in the Sis and Herman Dupre Science Pavilion.

During this session, participants will each design and fabricate a mobile phone holder with their choice of materials; either wood or acrylic. Participants will see their designs come to fruition following the design & creation process from start to finish using state of the art 3D laser cutter as well as use of Saint Vincent labs and facilities. 

Computers will be supplied however, if a participant wants to bring their own laptop, they are free to do so providing they have access to Microsoft PowerPoint or Keynote.
 
Check in will start at 8:30 AM, and this event begins at 9:00 AM. Your day includes a Welcome and Session Instruction by Professor Adam Wood, Ph.D., Herbert W. Boyer School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Computing, hands-on breakout sessions with lunch provided.
