Marching Band Scholarship
Scholarship Amount:
$500-$2,500 per year
Applicants for select instruments, roles, or opportunities may be eligible for higher scholarship awards.
Eligibility:
Incoming or prospective full-time students for Fall 2027
Woodwind, brass, drumline, front ensemble, color guard or majorettes
Participation:
Perform with SVC Marching Band (fall) and/or Basketball Pep Band (spring)*
Scholarship Tiers:
Participation in Pep Band only: $500/year
Participation in Marching Band only: $1,500/year
Participation in both Marching Band and Pep Band: $2,500/year
Lifespan:
Scholarship renews automatically each year for up to four years.

Introduce Yourself:
In approximately 100-200 words, tell us about your experience in marching band or other music/performance settings. Why would you like to be a member of the band at Saint Vincent College?
Optional Video:
Submit a short video as an optional part of the application. Demonstrate 1-2 minutes performing from a piece of music or routine of your choice.
Wind instrumentalists should include one scale in any key.
Color guard should showcase flag skills and include at least one toss.
Majorettes should showcase twirling skills and include at least one spin (1-turn, 2-turn, etc.)
Students who submit a video do not need to participate in SVC band auditions in the fall.
